IPTV on MAG Boxes: 250, 254, 322, 424 Setup Guide

Model-by-model portal and MAC address configuration for Infomir MAG 250, 254, 322 and 424 set-top boxes.

MAG setup is portal-based, not app-based

Unlike a Firestick or phone, an Infomir MAG box does not install apps — it loads a portal URL and identifies itself by MAC address. For a general overview see our MAG box guide; this page gets model-specific for the 250, 254, 322 and 424. Want to test first? Grab a free trial.

How MAG boxes work with TVNado

Infomir MAG boxes run a built-in middleware (commonly called a Stalker or MAG portal) rather than third-party apps. Instead of logging in with a username and password, the box connects to a portal URL and is recognised by its unique MAC address. That means setup is fast and tidy: TVNado registers your MAC, you type one portal address, and the box does the rest on reboot.

This portal-and-MAC model is what differentiates MAG configuration from the Xtream Codes setup used by app-based players. The steps below apply across the MAG range, with model notes where the hardware differs.

Step 1: Find and register your MAC address

Every MAG box has a unique MAC address that ties your subscription to that specific unit. Get this right before anything else.

  1. 1

    Check the sticker

Turn the box over — the MAC address (format 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX) is printed on the label underneath.

  2. 2

    Or read it on screen

Alternatively go to Settings → System Settings → About to display the MAC on your TV.

  3. 3

    Send it to TVNado

Message your exact MAC address via WhatsApp so it can be registered to your account.

  4. 4

    Wait for confirmation

Once TVNado confirms the MAC is linked, your portal is ready to load on the box.

Step 2: Enter the portal URL

With your MAC registered, point the box at the TVNado portal. The menu path is the same on MAG 250, 254, 322 and 424.

  1. 1

    Open the portal settings

From the home screen go to Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals.

  2. 2

    Enter Portal 1 URL

In the Portal 1 URL field, type the portal address TVNado sent you, exactly, with no extra spaces.

  3. 3

    Save the configuration

Press OK to save, then back out of the settings menu.

  4. 4

    Reboot the box

Restart the MAG. It connects to the portal and loads all channels, VOD and the EPG automatically.

Model-specific notes: 250, 254, 322 & 424

  • MAG 250: The classic HD box. Setup is identical, but expect 1080p maximum output and slightly slower menu navigation.
  • MAG 254: A refined HD model with better stability than the 250; the most common box in older installs.
  • MAG 322: Improved processor and HEVC support for smoother HD streams and snappier portal loading.
  • MAG 424: The 4K UHD flagship — choose this for a 4K television and TVNado's UHD channels via the same portal steps.

Troubleshooting MAG connection issues

If the box shows a blank portal or fails to load, work through the basics first. Re-check the portal URL for typos — a single wrong character stops it connecting. Confirm your MAC was registered correctly by comparing the on-screen MAC to what you sent. Verify the box has internet under Settings → Network, and if you changed any setting, perform a full reboot rather than just exiting the menu.

For 4K stability on the MAG 424, a wired Ethernet connection is strongly recommended. If everything checks out and the portal still will not load, contact TVNado on WhatsApp to confirm your MAC and portal pairing on their side.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find the MAC address on my MAG box?

The MAC address is a 12-character code (format 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX) printed on a sticker on the underside of every Infomir MAG 250, 254, 322 and 424 box. You can also see it on screen under Settings → System Settings → About. TVNado links your subscription to this MAC, so send it exactly as printed.

What portal URL do I enter on my MAG?

TVNado sends you a dedicated portal (Stalker) URL via WhatsApp after signup. Enter it in Settings → System Settings → Servers → Portals → Portal 1 URL on your MAG box, save, then reboot. The box will pull your full channel list, VOD and EPG from that portal automatically.

What is the difference between MAG 254 and MAG 424?

The MAG 250 and 254 are older HD-focused boxes, while the MAG 322 added improved hardware and the MAG 424 supports 4K UHD output with a faster processor. The TVNado setup process is identical across all of them — enter the portal URL and register your MAC — but the 424 is the pick for 4K televisions.

Why won't my MAG box connect to the portal?

First confirm the portal URL is typed exactly with no extra spaces, and that your MAC address has been registered with TVNado. Check the box has a working internet connection under network settings, then reboot. If it still fails, message TVNado on WhatsApp to verify your MAC and portal are correctly linked.
