Search for a Downloader code for any IPTV app and you will get several different numbers for the same app from several different sites. That is not one of them being wrong. It is the system working as designed, and understanding why saves you from trying six more numbers that will also fail.
We do not publish a numeric code list here, for the reason spelled out below: any such list is wrong within months, and the pages that keep them online are the reason you are on your fourth search.
What a Downloader code actually is
Downloader — the sideloading app published by AFTVnews — runs a URL shortener. You give it a web address, it gives you a short number. Typing that number into Downloader is identical to typing the full address. That is the entire mechanism.
Two consequences follow, and they explain everything people find confusing about codes:
- Anyone can register a code, not just the app's developer. A blog, a reseller, or a stranger can point a code at any file. The number carries no authority about what it downloads.
- Codes are not permanent. They expire and are recycled. A code that installed a player last year may now resolve to nothing — or to something entirely different.
So a list of codes is a snapshot of links that worked on the day someone tested them, assuming they tested them at all. Most lists are copied from other lists. That is why they disagree.
Why your code failed
- Expired or reassigned — most common by a wide margin.
- The publisher moved the file and the old code still points at the old address.
- The download starts but install fails — the APK is for a different architecture or a newer Android version than your device runs. Older Firesticks hit this constantly.
- “App not installed” — a previous version with a different signature is still present. Uninstall the old one first.
- Nothing happens at all — install-from-unknown-sources is off for Downloader, which is a Fire TV setting rather than a code problem.
The reliable method: go to the source
Rather than hunting for a working number, get the current download address from whoever publishes the app, then paste that URL straight into Downloader. Codes are only a shortcut for typing; the URL is the thing that matters, and it comes from a source you can verify.

Notice how many rows say “no sideload needed.” A good share of the people searching for a Downloader code are looking for an app that is already in the Amazon Appstore on their device. Check there first — a store install updates itself, and a sideloaded one never will.
Sideloading on Firestick, step by step
When the app genuinely is not in the store, the process is short:
- From the Fire TV home screen, search for Downloader (the orange icon, by AFTVnews) and install it.
- Go to Settings › My Fire TV › Developer Options and turn on Install unknown apps for Downloader. On newer Fire OS builds this option appears only after Downloader is installed.
- Open Downloader, and in the URL field enter the publisher's download address (or their current code, if they publish one).
- Press Go, wait for the download, then choose Install.
- After installing, choose Delete twice to remove the APK — Firesticks have very little storage and a leftover installer is pure waste.

Installing the player is the easy half
A freshly installed IPTV player is an empty shell. What makes it work is the subscription details you enter, and there are only two forms they come in:
- Xtream Codes login — a server URL, a username and a password. Preferred, because it pulls live TV, VOD and the EPG in one go.
- M3U URL — a single long link containing the whole playlist. Works everywhere, but the guide data usually needs a separate EPG URL.

A note on safety
A code hides its destination until after you press Go. That is fine when the code comes from the developer and a genuine risk when it comes from a list you found on a site that has never tested it. Two rules cover almost everything:
- Take download links from the app's publisher, or from the Appstore where the app is listed there.

Check the Appstore first and only sideload the players that are genuinely not listed.
Is it safe to install an IPTV app from a Downloader code?
It is exactly as safe as the URL behind the code, which you cannot see before you press Go. That is the real objection to random code lists: you are installing an unsigned package from an address someone else registered. Use codes or links published by the app's own developer, be wary of any APK offered as a modified or unlocked build, and never install a player that asks to be paid for through a channel other than the developer's own.
